     Common Hatred was officially formed in February of 2006 in Northwest Ohio. Drummer Brad Babcock and Guitarist Sam Wright (formerly of Illicit Citizen) decided to take their music to the next level after their former band dissipated.
     Heavily influenced by the likes of Dream Theater, Lamb of God, Mudvayne, Tool, Porcupine Tree, Rush, Primus, and many, many others.  Brad and Sam needed to form a new group. They added up and coming bassist and brother Ryan Babcock to the mix and the search was on for a singer.
     After about 9 months of writing music and trying out different vocalists, the group finally found the missing piece of the puzzle. Brad met Dan Gary in mid January of 2006 while attending a music business class at a local college. After realizing that the two had Common music interests, Dan decided to try out for the band. After Dan began writing material for the music, Brad, Ryan, and Sam knew this was the sound they were looking for.
    Now that the group is complete, Common Hatred is ready to take the world by storm. Don't miss a single chance to see this band live.
